Generously proportioned, this round shape semi-mount engagement ring holds its center seat open for a stone of 4.50 Ctw to 5.50 Ctw. Along the shoulders and gallery, 20 round cut diamonds are prong set in measured succession, the spacing kept even so nothing distracts from the seat at the center. A ring is viewed from every angle but its own, and the mounting is drawn to look considered in profile as well as from above. Simplicity of this kind is harder to execute than ornament, since there is nothing to distract from the proportion of the band against the stone it will carry.
