Every custom piece begins with a one-on-one consultation with one of our experienced designers. We’ll discuss your vision, the story behind your piece, and work within your budget to bring your ideas to life. To make sure we include all the elements you're looking for, we encourage you to bring any inspiration—photos, sketches, or ideas—you’ve collected. Throughout the process, we collaborate with you step-by-step, refining the design and ensuring every detail aligns with your preferences. Whether you're drawn to specific diamond shapes or unique gemstones, we’ll guide you in selecting the perfect elements for your custom piece.

CAD imaging

Drawing from your consultation, we’ll present a detailed design proposal that includes pricing, a written description, and a photo-realistic CAD (computer-aided design) rendering of your piece. This visual mockup brings your vision to life and ensures every detail is just right before we move into production. Custom pricing varies based on design complexity, stone size and metal weight, and the engineering required to create your one-of-a-kind piece.

Craftsmanship

Upon CAD approval, impeccable detail and
craftsmanship will transform your concept into a treasured one-of-a-kind piece. We’ll collaborate with you on the timeline and communicate a realistic timeframe upfront, ensuring you know exactly what to expect as your vision takes shape.

How much does it cost? Is it more expensive?

The cost of a custom piece varies depending on the complexity of the design, stones that are selected, and the level of detail involved, but we don’t charge additional fees for our design services. Whether you’re incorporating heirloom stones, choosing a unique center gem, or envisioning an intricate setting, we’ll work with you to align your vision with your budget. 

Can I use heirloom stones or metal?

We love working with heirloom diamonds and gemstones – each one carries a unique and special history; there may be some limitations due to the condition or state of the pieces. We’ll carefully inspect the items you’re interested in utilizing and will determine if they are suitable to incorporate into a new design or we’ll recommend they stay intact in their current form.

What if I don’t know exactly what I want?

Our custom design process is built to guide you every step of the way. You’ll work one-on-one with a dedicated custom design specialist who will help you discover your style, refine your ideas, and bring your vision into focus. Using detailed CAD imaging, we’ll show you exactly what your piece will look like before it’s made, so you can feel confident and excited about the final design.
