Emerald Shape Pave-Set Gemstone & Diamond Pendant

Emeralds of graduated size fill the face of this pendant like a mosaic. 2 emerald round 1.70 MM, 2 emerald round 1.80 MM, 1 emerald round 1.90 MM, 2 emerald round 2.10 MM, 2 emerald round 2.30 MM and 1 emerald round 2.70 MM are prong set across the rectangular form, the precious gemstone's green shifting subtly in depth as the stones grow. Framing that field, 24 round cut diamonds are prong set around the border in a bright outline. Graduating the stones rather than matching them gives the surface a natural irregularity, closer to the way color occurs than to the way it is usually arranged. The effect is richer for it. Crafted in 14 karat yellow gold on a cable chain 1.00 MM in 18 inches with a lobster lock and extenders at 16" & 17", it closes with a total weight of 1/4 Ctw.
