Emerald Shape Pave-Set Gemstone & Diamond Pendant

Rubies of graduated size fill the face of this pendant like a mosaic. 2 ruby round 1.70 MM, 2 ruby round 1.80 MM, 1 ruby round 1.90 MM, 2 ruby round 2.10 MM, 2 ruby round 2.30 MM and 1 ruby round 2.70 MM are prong set across the rectangular form, the precious gemstones red tones shifting subtly in depth as the stones grow. Framing that field, 24 round cut diamonds are pave set around the border in a bright outline. Graduating the stones rather than matching them gives the surface a natural irregularity, closer to the way color occurs than to the way it is usually arranged. The effect is richer for it. Crafted in 14 karat yellow gold on a cable chain 1.00 MM in 18 inches with a lobster lock and extenders at 16" & 17", Finished with a total diamond weight of 1/4 Ctw.
