A chevron break gives this band its direction, folding the line into a point that sits centered on the finger. 2 sapphire marquise 5X2.5 MM are prong set to lead the eye along that angle, joined by 4 sapphire pear 4X3 MM whose rounded bodies soften the geometry, the precious gemstone's blue repeating in two different silhouettes. Between them, 21 round cut diamonds are prong set to carry white light through the arrangement. Combining two cuts of the same gemstone gives the band a depth of color that a single silhouette would not achieve, the marquise reading sharp where the pear reads soft. It is a small distinction that carries the design.
