Bar Link Gemstone & Diamond Necklace

An emerald pear 7X5 MM anchors this bar link necklace, prong set so the precious gemstone's green falls at the center of the collarbone. Around it, three different settings carry the diamonds through the design: 9 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/10 Ctw are invisible set so no metal interrupts the surface, 18 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/10 Ctw are micro wall set in close formation, and 30 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1 1/4 Ctw are prong set through the links. Three settings within one necklace is unusual, and the variation is what keeps a long horizontal design from reading as a single repeated unit across its length. Crafted in 14 karat yellow gold on a cable chain 1.20 MM in 18 inches with a lobster lock and extenders at 16" & 17", it closes with a total weight of 1 1/2 Ctw.
